Brighton, Sussex.

The unique Royal Pavilion was originally built as a farm house, but reconstructed in exotic fashion by Jihn Nash  as a seaside residence for the Prince regent. Designed in the style of an Indian Mogul's palace with a dome, pinnacles and minarets, the interior is also lavishly decorated, much of it in Chinese style.

Liverpool.

A city with a log maritime history, was one of the word's major traiding centres in the 18th and 19th centuries as well as a leading port for the slave trade, until its abolition in 1807, and for emigration to America.
